Our Little Town Print
In 2012, the Calhoun County Chamber of Commerce commissioned Jean Ehler, a local artist, to create a new print that would be easily recognized to the people of Calhoun County. We commissioned this print to use in our recognition of our Business and Business Person of the Year for 2012 and in years to come.
The print that Jean created was so loved that members of the community have been asking to purchase a copy of the print.
We are now offering copies of the print for sale through the Chamber office. Contact the chamber office for additional information.
Annual Meeting 2012
The Calhoun County Chamber of Commerce held its final Business After Hours of the year on Tuesday, November 13, at the Calhoun Country Club. We had a wonderful evening with wine and cheese and a silent auction.
Chamber President, Bonnie Brunt, emceed the event and thanked the sponsors, Starbucks Sandy Run Roasting Facility, SCANA and the Calhoun Country Club. In addition, she expressed gratitude to Orangeburg Distributors.
We welcomed our newest member, the Good Junk Store, located downtown St. Matthews.
We recognized our November Busniess in the Spotlight, St. Matthews, K-8. The Principal Barry Charley gave a brief talk about the school's accomplishments over the past year and highlighed being the school receiving the Palmetto Silver Award for the 2011-2012 school year.
After Mr. Charley, we had our drawing and our next Business in the Spotlight is All South Federal Credit Union! We look forward to hearing from them at our next meeting.
