Each year, the Purple Martin Festival is held in April and is the largest festival in the County.The Purple Martin Festival is organized by the Calhoun County Chamber of Commerce in conjunction with the invaluable members of our chambers and dedicated citizens of our community.

We start with a wonderful Parade!  There are performing acts, a pet show, children’s rides, a petting zoo, and plenty of food for everyone.  The event brings visitors and vendors from all around the state. 

We regret that we will not be holding a Purple Martin Festival in 2013.  Check back next year.
